Rob qualified in 1994 and founded Breydons in 2004. He is a duty solicitor and higher courts advocate, and regularly appears at Magistrates Courts.
Richard Mann
Director
Richard qualified in 1999. He has been a Director of Breydons since 2013 and appears in the Magistrates’ Court and Police Station on a daily basis. He has a large and loyal following in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Rob qualified in 2007 and has held Higher Rights accreditation since 2015. He recently became a Director at Breydons.
Andrew Spence

Andrew qualified in 1999 and has experience in all aspects of criminal law. Since 2010 he has a Higher Rights accreditation for Crown Court.
Jaymie Quince
Practice Manager
Jaymie joined Breydons in 2017 after graduating from University with a First-class Honour’s degree in Psychology & Criminology. Jaymie manages the practice and all compliance related issues within the firm. Jaymie is an Accredited Police Station Representative, providing legal advice and assistance to clients detained at the police station.

Arthur qualified in 1993 and was a joint founder of Breydons solicitors in 2004. Arthur is a popular and well regarded advocate who represents Breydons clients at police stations and magistrates courts throughout the region.

Kemi Rufai
Senior Advocate/Higher Courts Advocate
Kemi joined Breydons in 2021 after recently moving to Ipswich after working in London throughout her career. Kemi is a Higher Courts Advocate and holds Legal Aid Supervisor status.
Alistair Taunton

Alistair qualified in 1979 and has specialised in criminal law for over 18 years. Alistair spends the majority of his time representing clients at the Magistrates Court and is part of the successful Breydons’ trials team.

Dave joined Breydons in 2022. Dave is extremely experienced at all areas of criminal law ranging from complex fraud to high profile murder investigations. Dave is a qualified Accredited Police Station Representative, providing legal advice to clients detained at the police station.

Simon joined Breydons in 2019. Simon came from a military background before becoming an Accredited Police Station Representative in 2005.

Rob qualified as a solicitor in 1994. He worked for a number of prominent firms before founding Breydons in 2004. Rob has been a duty solicitor for over 20 years. Rob attends the police station and the magistrates court where he has assisted thousands of clients.
Rob qualified as a higher courts advocate and has represented clients charged with serious criminal offences. Rob appears at the Crown court, magistrates and youth court conducting all forms of advocacy including trials. Rob is part of the motoring Law Team at Breydons and regularly deals with private and publicly funded aid cases.
Rob has been a Breydons supervisor throughout his time at Breydons. Rob is the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice at Breydons. Rob is the Breydons information officer and is also the lead director for all Legal Aid Agency and Lexcel matters.
Richard Mann

Richard qualified in 1999. Richard successfully ran his own criminal law practice before joining Breydons as a director in 2013.
Richard has been a duty solicitor at the police station and magistrates court for over 15 years and has represented thousands of clients some facing the most serious criminal allegations. Richard appears as an advocate at the magistrates and youth courts on a daily basis to assist clients. Richard is also part of the Breydons Motoring Law team and he assists both privately and publicly funded cases.
Richard is the complaints handler at Breydons solicitors.
Rob Pollington

Rob qualified as a criminal advocate in 2007. Prior to joining Breydons in January 2014, Rob was a prominent figure in some of the most successful criminal practices in the eastern region.
Rob has been a police station and magistrates court duty solicitor for over 10 years. Rob has held a higher rights accreditation since 2015 and was made a director in April 2019.
Rob undertakes all forms of advocacy, including trials, in the Magistrates, Youth and Crown courts. He has represented thousands of clients over that period. Rob is part of the Crown court team at Breydons. He has successfully undertaken a number of Crown court trials. Rob is also part of the Motoring Law Team at Breydons, assisting both privately and publicly funded clients.
Andrew Spence

Andrew qualified in 1999 and has been a duty solicitor since 2000. He obtained his Higher Rights accreditation for Crown Court in 2010. Andrew spends the majority of his time representing client at the Magistrates Court and the Police Station. Andrew is one of Breydons experienced trial advocates and as well as being part of our motoring law team. Andrew also regularly attends the police station providing legal advice and assistance to clients. Andrew has been a Supervising Solicitor at Breydon’s since 2016.

When not at the police station, Arthur represents clients as an advocate in the magistrates and youth courts. Arthur is a member of the Breydons Motoring Law Team and assists both privately and publicly funded clients.
James Landles

James has been a qualified solicitor for 22 years, working exclusively in criminal law. James is both a court and police station duty solicitor and is an experienced trial advocate in the Magistrates Court, dealing with a vast range of offences on a daily basis. James is a highly experienced member of our motor law team, dealing with road traffic offences for both publicly funded and private paying clients. James regularly attends the police station to advise and assist clients who are detained and for those who attend on a voluntary basis.
Kemi Rufai

Kemi joined Breydons in 2021 after having worked at a busy law firm in London. Kemi qualified as a duty solicitor in 2010 and gained her Higher Rights of Audience in 2013. Kemi has dealt with a vast range of offences, from fraud to serious sexual offences. Kemi is an experienced trial advocate and regularly attends the magistrates and youth courts to represent clients. Kemi is part of Breydons motoring team, dealing with publicly funded and private traffic offences. Kemi attained her Legal Aid Supervisor status in 2018 and is a current Breydons Supervisor.

He is part of the successful Breydons’ trials team, spending the majority of his time conducting trials in the magistrates court. Alistair regularly attends the police station for interviews under caution for clients under arrest and those who attend voluntarily. Alistair is a highly experienced member of our motoring law team, representing both privately and publicly funded clients.
